In July 2018, a pit bull/boxer mix came silently from the neighbor’s yard, went between three women and attacked Jazz. He grabbed and bit/tore Jazz’s mouth from the left to the right, spinning him around and ripping teeth (five were either lost or damaged) from his mouth - the pit bull/boxer's teeth went across his right eye and ended up attacking his right shoulder area the worst. He had nine bites on him before we could get the attacker off of him. None of the three women nor Jazz saw or heard the pit bull/boxer mix coming. Jazz was totally blind at the time. A ferocious attack which happened on an island in Canada with no vets available. I put him on anti-biotics I had on the boat and kept the wounds as clean as possible until we got him back to the USA and to his vet five days later. In September 2018, Jazz had his first surgery on his eyes. His sight was restored, but the right eye is still a problem and requires eye drops daily. However, since being on the pet formula of Bio-Cell he seems to be able to see much better from the eye and I believe his peripheial vision has improved.  
In mid-November I noticed that he wasn't feeling well. He spent three days in an animal hospital. They couldn't find out why he was dehydrated and had stomach issues. He was brought back to himself through hydration and anti-biotics. In December, the day after a grooming appointment, he had received a nick on his back and the infection material beneath started oozing. He was taken back to the animal hospital where surgery was performed. He was cut from his right shoulder all away across his back and down his left front leg in order to remove the infection. The vets do believe this had been festering in him from the July attack. Due to the initial round of antibiotics, his September surgery and antibiotics, and the antibiotics given in November, that they kept it in check until it had gotten to this point. He then went through a series of every three days - bandage changes, medicines, special foods and another night in the hospital due to needing additional hydration and care for his stomach until February 2019. He then had one more surgery in mid-February to close the open wound on his left leg. They had to graft most of the area leaving about a nickel size spot open. It is at that time I found the Modere Bio-Cell for pets through conversations with Chris and Larry. Jazz has been on it from the day I took him out of the hospital along with a dropper full of Colloidal Silver every day since. The doctors at the hospital only did one bandage change from the time he left the hospital after the graft surgery. They were totally pleased with how quickly his wound healed and released him from their care two weeks after the last surgery in February. He has since been groomed and even the groomer is shocked at how well his wounds look and how active he is again. I didn't mention that Jazz is a diabetic (thus the long recovery) and he is going to be 12 years old this summer. He now plays again with his 1 and 2 year puppy friends (albeit not as long as they would like) and he acts as if he were 9 or 10 instead of the 12 years he is. PTL!!
